I just finished the book Black Wave, a true account of a family's adventure at sea. It was given to me by the author, Jean Silverwood, who I met through tennis. It is truly an amazing story. I honestly could not put it down.

The Future

As my son prepares to graduate from eighth grade, I am reminded of a quote by Franklin Roosevelt:

"We cannot always build the future for our youth, but we can build our youth for the future."

This is more true today than ever before. Now, if I can just find a quote on how to deal with a teenager.
